What's your take on the ending?

[SPOILER]I say he's awake but my better half thinks he's still under.

My thinking is if he's still under then the top wouldn't wobble. But it did.

And why would his subconscious project such specific people like his dad, Fischer, and the people on the team? His kids are a no brainer based on information form earlier in the movie.

My better half thinks the ending cutting before the top falls and never actually seeing him get out of the van means he's still under.[/SPOILER]
